I Really Like This San Francisco Illustrator: Amos Goldbaum
Saw this guy the other day on Market st. around 3rd selling his prints and shirts. Really great flowing line drawing style. Reminds me of the drawings of computers and robots I had in an early programming book as a child, but check his site as he has a rich and varied body of work. And go talk to him(he’s on Market Thursday & Friday, I think), see his shows, and buy his stuff.

This is El Farolito. (Li’l Lighthouse.) The Eagle in the Booth is Eating A Rattlesnake. That Isn’t on the Menu.

UPDATE:They f’d up my burrito and gave me a non-super, which apparently doesn’t have the guacamole or cheese or extra hot sauce I asked for. I think I got someone else’s. This is no El Farolito. I thought I had this before and liked it, now I am questioning my place in this world. +Lettuce… wut?
“The Rotisserie Meat Painting.” If I’m seeing it, I’m probably very excited in anticipation of the lighthouse of Mexican delights that are en route to my food hole. There was an eagle eating a rattlesnake sitting at that table.
I’m not seeing this in person right now, but I’m almost as excited that the El Tonayense* (The Tonayense) truck is coming to my work and finally, we can have decent Mexican in the neighborhood for at least one day a week. It’s just not right that any San Francisco neighborhood be without quality Mexican food, but that is the case with the Chinancial District as far as I know, but as of today wrongs are starting to be righted.
*It’s weird to me that a taqueria has a Flash-based web site. They should be dingy old Geocities-like HTML with bad Java music players.

Achtüng Non-Existent Readers! I’m Deep Into Music Creative Cycle*
So I am not posting as much or shooting as many photos or vector illustrating things or making as much love, but rest assured all of this will lead to more of all of that as the creative Ouroboros continues, life goes on seasons change, but now there’s more music available. I’m definitely not committing any crimes and I have lots of photos to scan and process, so when this is all over, there will be lots of visuals going on here and Flickr and all over the internets. Once I get my The Artist’s Way™ morning pages things down, I’ll start posting here more too. Hope all your dreams are coming true.
*So deep I don’t even know wtf this ‘Inception’ thing is the kids are apparently so crazy/not crazy about. God Bless!
