Container Shipman Breaks Down His Work

Martin Machado painting - Hawaii SailNice little snapshot of life on a container ship. Martin Machado describes his typical day and routes the regular journey they do. I’m probably a bit too much of a landlubber to do this for more than a year, but I am jealous of all the places these guys go and interesting folks along the way.

Above is one of his lovely paintings. He’s really good at capturing the ocean. My waves and ripples never look quite right. Nice work in both ways.
